Chocolate Pretzel Trees (Printable)

Festive chocolate-dipped pretzel rods topped with sprinkles and stars for a salty-sweet holiday treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 18 salted pretzel rods

→ Coating

02 - 7 oz semisweet or milk chocolate, chopped
03 - 3.5 oz white chocolate, chopped (optional, for decoration)

→ Decorations

04 - 2 tbsp assorted sprinkles or colored sugar
05 - Mini candy stars or pearls (optional, for tree toppers)

# How-To Steps:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to set up your dipping station.
02 - Melt the semisweet or milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water (double boiler) or in the microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
03 - Dip approximately two-thirds of each pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to help coat evenly if needed. Swirl gently to create tree branch patterns, then tap off excess chocolate.
04 - Place dipped pretzels onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart to prevent sticking during the setting process.
05 - While the chocolate remains wet, drizzle with melted white chocolate in zigzag patterns if desired, then immediately sprinkle with assorted sprinkles and position a candy star or pearl on top of each tree.
06 - Allow the trees to set at room temperature for approximately 20 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes until the chocolate completely hardens.
07 - Once fully set, carefully remove from parchment paper and serve immediately or package individually as gifts.
